The HTC Nexus 9 didn’t launch in India on the 12th of November as expected. But we have good news for those of you who are waiting for the new Google tablet. According to Zauba.com, the device has been shipped into the country. This might be a sign that the slate is going to be released sometime soon.
Zauba keeps track of the imports and exports of India. According to the website, 2000 Nexus 9 units, worth around $704,068 ($352.04/unit), were imported into India on November 15. While on the 14th of November 10 units of the slate, meant for testing, were shipped into the country. It is expected that more units will soon arrive in India.
Just to remind you, the HTC Nexus 9 comes equipped with an 8.9-inch IPS LCD display (2048×1536) with Gorilla Glass 3 protection, 64-bit NVIDIA Tegra K1 processor, Kepler DX1 GPU, 2GB RAM, an 8MP primary camera, a 1.6MP front shooter, a 6700mAh battery, and dual front-facing Boomsound speakers. The 16GB Nexus 9 comes with a price tag of Rs. 28,900, while the 32GB LTE model costs Rs. 44,900.
