Microsoft has launched three new Lumia smartphones in India: the Lumia 930, Lumia 830 and the dual-SIM Lumia 730. Check out the specs, prices and availability of the handsets below.
Nokia Lumia 930
The costliest of the new devices, the Lumia 930 (seen above) will be available on sale on the 15th of this month with a price tag of Rs. 38,649. Available in bright orange, black and white, the Lumia 930 comes equipped with a full HD 5-inch display (441 ppi) protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3, a 2.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 2 GB RAM, 32 GB of storage (no microSD card support), a 20MP PureView primary camera, a 1.2 MP front shooter with wide angle lens, and a 2420mAh battery (with wireless charging). The device is coming with 7 GB of free cloud storage.
The device has a 5-inch HD screen (ClearBlack, IPS LCD); that means you will be getting a pixel density of 296 ppi. There’s Gorilla Glass 3, and the device also features a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor, 1 GB of RAM, 16 GB of storage with support for microSD cards (up to 128 GB), a 10MP primary camera, a 0.9 MP front shooter, a 2200mAh battery (there’s wireless charging), and 15 GB of free cloud storage. The device will be available in bright orange, white and black on October 8 for Rs. 28,799.
Lumia 730 Dual-SIM
This device is the cheapest among the new devices. Priced at Rs. 15,299, the Lumia 730 features a 4.7-inch 720p display (316 ppi) with Gorilla Glass 3. The handset is coming with a 6.7 MP rear camera, but you will love the 5MP front shooter if you are obsessed about selfies. Under the hood, there’s a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor, 1 GB of RAM and 8GB of storage with microSD card support (upto 128GB). There will be 15 GB of free cloud storage and a 2220 mAh battery (no wireless charging). The handset will be available in green, orange, dark grey, and white.
The new Lumia devices are coming with 1TB of free space on OneDrive. It will be free for the first six months and will cost Rs. 125 per month afterwards. The devices are running Windows Phone 8.1 (with Lumia Denim) and you will also get to play with Cortana.
Meanwhile, Microsoft also announced the launch of the accessory called Microsoft Screen Sharing for Lumia Phones in India. The device (seen above), which comes with a price tag of Rs.5,999, will allow you to mirror your Lumia device’s apps and media content on the big screen.
