Something most-awaited is going to be unveiled later today, but Android fans will probably be not too interested in that device. If you are in Canada and have been keeping an eye on the Samsung Galaxy Alpha semi-metallic smartphone, you should circle the 26th of September on your calendar. The device will be launched on that day in the country.
The Samsung Galaxy Alpha will come with a price tag of 699 CAD ($637) and be available in Charcoal Black, Dazzling White and Frosted Gold through Bell Mobility and Virgin Mobile. Just to remind you, the handset comes equipped with a 4.7-inch 720p screen, an octa-core Exynos processor (four 1.8 GHz and four 1.3 GHz cores), 2GB RAM, 32GB of storage, 12MP cam, Wi-Fi ac, LTE, an 1,860mAh battery, fingerprint scanner, heart rate monitor, and it runs Android 4.4.4 KitKat.
Meanwhile, if you are waiting for an all-metal device from Samsung maybe you should wait until the rumored SM-A500 shows up. But the device is said to be coming with mid-range specs such as a 5-inch 720p HD Super AMOLED screen, a quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor, 8MP rear camera, 5MP front shooter, and 16GB of storage with microSD card support.
