Get your HTC Droid Incredible from Verizon Wireless, only $200

DROID Incredible by HTC Combines Power of Android, Usability of HTC Sense, Exclusively from Verizon Wireless

Yesterday we got wind of Verizon Wireless offering the HTC Incredible as the Droid Incredible by HTC. We also learned of the specs and a release date window.  Today, we gain access to a very important piece of information: the price. Verizon Wireless will be selling the Droid Incredible for $200 in stores April 29. Naturally, that’s the price you’ll pay with a new qualifying two-year contract with big red, and not the outright price if you choose to go without a service agreement.

As a quick refresher, the Droid Incredible by HTC (previously known simply as the HTC Incredible) is loaded with Google Android 2.1 and the HTC Sense experience, along with a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, Friend STream, 8MP camera, 3.7-inch WVGA AMOLED capacitive touchscreen, optical joystick, GPS, Wi-Fi, proximity sensor, light sensor, and digital compass.

It also has something called “Leap” view that gives you instant access to all seven home screen panels. That can certainly come in handy and the speedy Snapdragon chip should get you there quickly.

The contours on the backplate may not appeal to all audiences, but it certainly does give this phone a definite personality. It’s almost like the Hulk. Droid angry! Droid smash! Droid incredible!
