It seems pretty easy to get caught up in the latest BlackBerry or iPhone release, but that doesn’t mean that you should forget about the other smartphone manufacturers in the game. If you hop over to the United Kingdom, you’ll find that Samsung is reportedly offering a “more stylish way to work” in the form of the Samsung C6625 through Vodafone UK.
By and large, the new Samsung C6625 will offer a similar user experience as what you have already found with the BlackJack and other Windows Mobile-powered Samsung smartphones. There is a full QWERTY keyboard to go with a landscape-oriented QVGA color display.
In addition to Windows Mobile 6.1, you’ll also find a 2 megapixel camera, Microsoft Exchange, HSDPA 3.6Mbps, aGPS and the usual slate of productivity tools. Sadly, there is no Wi-Fi, so you won’t be able to poach some YouTube videos while sipping your latte at the local coffee shop.
Then again, since this is a Euro-friendly tri-band GSM phone, it wouldn’t fare all that well in our part of the globe anyhow. There’s no mention of the Samsung C6625 smartphone on Vodafone’s website just yet, so we’ll have to wait to find out more about release dates, pricing, and how exactly this is a more stylish way to work.
