Amazon Kindle Gets the Leather Treatment

You knew it was only a matter of time before the market got flooded with an assortment of accessories for the new Amazon Kindle. The e-book reader is remarkably popular, giving the world of books a huge breathe of fresh air. It’s so fresh and new. This case, however, kicks it old school.

If you’re not a fan of the iPod-esque white shell of the current Amazon Kindle, you may prefer this leather-bound version instead. Realistically, this leather case is no different than leather cases for cell phones and other similar devices, but it almost gives the Kindle an old-school book-like appeal.

You know, if it wasn’t for the cut out sections featuring the controls. Even so, the casual passer-by may think it looks like a leather-bound notebook pad rather than an expensive electronic device. Just don’t let anyone at PETA spot you with this slab of deceased bovine skin.

The leather sleeve for the Amazon Kindle sells for 80 Euro, including shipping to “all countries in the world.” Look for it in your choice of brown or black. No pink leather… yet.
