As more people migrate from their desktop computers to fully relying on their notebooks, more people are starting to recognize the importance of having a proper laptop cooler. Accessory makers are also recognizing the big market for these kinds of products.
Logitech has long since been respected for its range of notebook accessories and now it is expanding its line with the Logitech Cooling Pad N100. The overall green and white design may make you think that the N100 is catering to the Mac end of the equation, but the cooling pad is just as effective for the Dells and Toshibas of the world.
In terms of overall design, you get a curvaceous pad that will presumably fit best on a desk, sending slow gusts of cool air to the underside of your notebook via the USB-powered fan. There’s nothing too crazy here, but it does look pretty nice. Expect the Logitech Cooling Pad N100 to cost $29.99 when it ships later this month.
Alternatively, you can consider the Logitech N110 Notebook Riser. This is a passive cooling solution with no active fans. Instead, it comes with adjustable heights to provide you with the most comfortable and ergonomic typing angle. It will also sell for $29.99.
