Touched-up promotional renderings are one thing, but live photos are another thing altogether. What you see here are three new XpressMusic phones from the good people at Nokia, ahead of the Finnish company’s official unveiling of the trio.
The overall styling of the three new music phones is clearly in line with previous XpressMusic offerings. You mostly get a black handset with a color frame wrapping all the way around the perimeter. As efore, you get some controls to the side of the display as well, but some of these are touch-sensitive now.
Starting in the far left (below) is the Nokia XpressMusic 5730. You get a 2.4-inch QVGA display, a standard numeric keypad, a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, 3.5mm audio jack, 3.6Mbps HSDPA, quad-band GSM, microSD expansion, 802.11b/g Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, 3.15 megapixel camera, VGA videocall camera, FM radio with RDS, aGPS with Nokia Maps, and Nokia Say and Play voice control.
In the center is the super stylish Nokia 5330 XpressMusic. Also available in a blue and silver colors scheme, this phone also gets 3G connectivity, QVGA display, touch music controls, microSD slot, Bluetooth 2.1, 3.15 megapixel camera, and aGPS.
And on the right is the dual-band GSM Nokia 5030 XpressMusic. The cheapest of the bunch, the 5030 only has a 120 x 160 pixel display, FM radio, voice memo, and other rudimentary basics. The 5730 and 5330 are expected to launch in Q3, preceded by the 5030 in Q2.
