If you’re the kind of person who uses a mobile phone for text messaging more than voice calls, the upcoming Nokia E75 may be for you. We caught our first glimpse of this new messaging-friendly handset a short while ago, but now more specs related to the Nokia E75 have been confirmed.
As you recall, the Nokia E75 is a standard-looking candybar phone with a numeric keypad, but you can slide out a full QWERTY keyboard out of the left side when you need to fire off an email or send a text message. Well, the European version shown here has a QWERTZ keyboard, but I’m thinking Nokia will have a QWERTY rendition as well.
The business-class smartphone has been loaded with a 2.8-inch auto-orienting QVGA display, 3.2 megapixel camera, S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 2, high-speed 3G wireless broadband, and integrated Wi-Fi. There’s nothing coming out of left field here, but it’s good to see the sliding QWERTY form factor reach Nokia’s E-series smartphones.
