Dell has not officially announced its unofficial competitor to the MacBook Air, so it seems that an online store in the UK has done it for them. What we see here is a screenshot from the website of Tesco, a UK supermarket chain that also happens to sell laptops. Although it is listed as the Dell Inspiron Z530, this lappy looks a lot like what the Dell E-Slim could be.

Even though the Dell Inspiron Z530 has a 12.1-inch widescreen display, it seems to almost fit into netbook territory with its Intel Atom Z530 processor. Wait, Atom Z530? Inspiron Z530? I don’t suppose that’s where the Tesco got the name… Anyhow, other features include Linux, media card reader, integrated graphics, 40GB 4200rpm hard drive, 1GB RAM, three USB ports, and integrated Wi-Fi.

Strangely, the width and height are listed at 29.9cm. Weird. Anyhow, the product page points toward a launch date and price of October 6 and $526.
