I’m more of a Twitter and MSN kind of guy, but I know that a lot of people make use of the AOL Instant Messenger for a good portion of their online chat requirements. While you’ve been able to do the Windows Live Messenger thing on Windows Mobile phones for some time, you haven’t been able to do AIM until now.

The beta version of the AIM client was issued a while back and now it is ready for primetime and for your downloading pleasure. The AIM instant messaging application for Windows Mobile offers a “fully featured AIM experience in a highly polished looking application.”

I have to admit that this client is quite the looker. It actually puts a lot of WinMo apps to shame when it comes to aesthetic. The best part? It works. Download it at wap.aol.com, following through the Products link to select AIM for Windows Mobile.
