Everyone already knows that the Apple iPod absolutely dominates the portable media player market, but there are certainly alternatives out there that are worth checking out. Reigncom is not a company that is particularly well known around these parts, but their iRiver E100 comes with a pretty formidable feature set.
Marketed as an all-in-one device, the iRiver E100 comes with a 2.4-inch TFT LCD screen, a pair of built-in speakers, the ability to record, FM radio, microSD expansion, text viewer, e-book viewer, and an integrated mic for voice memos. Naturally, it supports a range of audio and video files as well.
The iRiver E100 MP3/MP4 player is available now in Japan. The 4GB model sells for $140, whereas the 8-gigger is $190.
