For some time, the only way that Canadians could get their hands on some Dell goodness was through the website. Some time afterwards, Dell started to open its own kiosks in shopping malls, providing a little more brand exposure than just the “Get a Dell” ads that we’d see on TV. Starting today, the world’s second largest computer-maker is taking the next logical step.
According to many reports, Dell computers will start selling at FutureShop.ca and at brick-and-mortar Future Shop stores in Canada starting today. This includes all 131 Future Shop stores across Canada, so you’ll have a much greater opportunity to toy with a physical unit rather than just taking a guess through an online image.
Among the products sold through Future Shop will be the Inspiron 1525 laptop, the XPS m1330 and m1530 laptops, the Inspiron 530 and 530s desktops, the XPS 420 desktop, and a couple of LCD monitors.
