If you’ve ever been to the gym, you’ve surely noticed that it’s hard to pump that iron when you have cables dangling in every which direction. That’s why it’s just so much more convenient to cut the cords with a stereo Bluetooth solution like the iMuffs headphones from Wi-Gear.
According to the review on Crunchgear, it’s a solid product and while it won’t satisfy the audiophiles in the audience, it works well enough for the casual user. There are controls on one side of the headphones and then there is a Bluetooth dongle that fits into the dock connector on your iPod. The dongle “protrudes” quite a bit, but it’s still reasonably small.
Battery life is great and it’s nice that the headphones have a built-in microphone for voice calls, should you choose to connect this thing to your iPhone. It works well, but it’s hard justifying the $180 price tag. You know, unless you have the cash to blow on a product that is “good enough.”
