You could say that it’s some variation of the Samsung Blackjack that has already been available for some time now, but the latest addition to the Sprint family has an extra trick up its sleeve. The Samsung Ace, which will be coming to Sprint soon, can not only latch onto a regular CDMA network, but it’s also got a SIM card slot for globe-trotting GSM users.

Much like the World Edition BlackBerry devices, the Samsung Ace from Sprint does not come with any USA-friendly GSM radios, meaning that you can’t just plunk a SIM card from T-Mobile or AT&T in there and chat to your heart’s delight. Instead, it comes with 900/1800 MHz bands, the ones that work in most of Europe and Asia.

Rounding out the specs are a full QWERTY keyboard, Windows Mobile 6.1, 1.3 megapixel camera, RSS reader, Bluetooth A2DP, and high-speed EVDO. Notably missing from the package are WiFi and GPS. Check out the full review for a more in-depth look.
