What do you do when you have to compete against a behemoth like the Apple iPod? You try to one-up them, of course, by including dual navigation wheels! That’s exactly what MPIO has done with their latest creation, the MG200 portable media player. Instead of a single five-way navigator, this player has a couple of round things in the front, not unlike the Baywatch babes.
The MPIO MG200 comes in 1GB, 2GB, and 4GB flavors, but all versions also come equipped with an SD expansion slot that will happily accept everything up to an 8GB SDHC card. In effect, you can have a music player that handles up to 12 gigabytes of goodies! File support includes MP3, WMA, WM DRM 10, and some undisclosed file formats.
Other specs include a voice recorder, FM tuner, 128 x 128 color display, 18 hours of music, 4 hours of video, and your choice of black or white casings. Pricing ranges from $72 to $118.
