I’m sure you’ve noticed that the cell phone ringtone market is totally exploding all over the place and people have no trouble dumping a few dollars at a time to get their hands on the hottest ringtones. Now that 2007 is about to draw to a close, AT&T has released a list of the top ten best-selling ringtones of the year.

It should come as little surprise that hip hop music is dominating the list, seeing how hip hop and “urban” music are so popular these days. Just turn to MTV and what do you hear? Yeah, that’s what I thought. Oh, and in case you’re wondering, each of these ringtones cost $2.99 each, unless you subscribe to AT&T’s MyMedia Club for $5.99.

On with the list.

1. Shop Boyz – “Party Like a Rockstar”
2. Mims – “This Is Why I’m Hot”
3. Soulja Boy – “Crank That (Soulja Boy)”
4. Nickelback – “Rockstar”
5. Akon – “Don’t Matter”
6. T-Pain – “Buy You A Drank (Shawty Snappin)”
7. Hurricane Chris – “A Bay Bay”
8. Sean Kingston – “Beautiful Girls”
9. Huey – “Pop, Lock & Drop It”
10. Fergie – “Big Girls Don’t Cry”
