HTC isn’t the only company working on Windows Mobile smartphones, don’t you know? What you see before you is the decidedly minimalistic RoverPC C6 GSM GPRS phone with a large touhchscreen display. As far as I can tell, there is no physical keyboard to be enjoyed, so all of the menu navigation is done through the handful of buttons below the display, as well as the touchscreen itself.
Wrapped all up in a matte black finish, the RoverPC C6 is a Russian-made handset rocking Windows Mobile 6, a 300 MHz Samsung 2442B processor, and Microsoft Office Mobile Suite, including all the usual suspects like Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet Explorer. Rounding out the spec sheet are a 2 megapixel camera, 64MB RAM, 128MB ROM, and Bluetooth.
No word on pricing or availability, but as far as I can tell, the RoverPC C6 GSM GRPS phone isn’t all that special anyways.
