Lugging around your laptop can be quite the chore and that’s why the Sony Ericsson K630i with Turbo 3G wants to deliver “a PC-like web surfing experience in a pocket-sized frame.”
Barely tipping the scales at 97 grams, the K630i is the latest high-powered candybar to come out of the Sony Ericsson camp. You can stay quickly connected to everything via the HSDPA (2100) radio found within, mirroring your email inbox via Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync. Surfing the web on your phone also includes subscriptions to RSS feeds.
In terms of entertainment — in case the web isn’t enough — the Sony Ericsson K630 also has a 2.0 megapixel camera with video, Memory Stick Micro (M2) expansion, and a built-in Media Browser. The phone will automatically convert music tracks and video clips to “phone-friendly formats” as well.
To be available in “selected markets”, the Sony Ericsson K630 is scheduled for a Q4 2007 launch.
