After unloading a ton of money on your brand new digital SLR, the last you want to happen is to get it crushed or damaged unexpectedly. Just as there are a variety of protective cases designed for the cell phones, apparently the exact same thing is true in the camera world as well. Case in point, the Nikon D200 can now get wrapped up in a silicon cover courtesy of the people at Camera Armor.

This silicon cover not only provides some shock protection for the main camera body; the rubbery goodness extends all the way from the viewfinder in the back to the tip of your lens at the front. There’s no mention of weatherproofing, so we’ve got to assume that the rubbery cover is meant to protect only against bumps, bruises, shocks, and scratches.

Thankfully, the lens, memory card, battery and camera control buttons are all accessible without having to peel off the camera condom. Price has been set at 57,000 KRW (US$61).
