A common perception is that women talk more than men. This might very well be true in society as a whole, but it’s not the case in the world of mobile phones, at least according to a recent survey.
No less an entity than AT&T is reporting the results of its annual Father’s Day poll: With 1,000 mobile users surveyed, men talked more than women, to the tune of 458 minutes a month. Now, that figure is just 5 minutes more than what the fairer sex racked up on occasion. But if you listen to popular culture perceptions, that disparity should be 5 hours, not 5 minutes.
Just goes to show you that you can never be too careful with your assertions. You never know who’s listening (or talking on a mobile).
