Ever since they took over IBM’s laptop business, Lenovo has done a pretty good job at marketing themselves. Business professionals respect the brand for their build quality and recognition of the ThinkPad name. Where Lenovo hasn’t really marketed itself in the arena of being tough and rugged. That is, until this most recent commercial. Yeah, it’s a little creepy.
The latest ad campaign is designed to promote Lenovo’s new magnesium rollcage structure. In the commercial that you can view below, you see a Lenovo ThinkPad going through some pretty tough times, surviving a car crash, a sky dive, and even a dip in the ocean. Whether the laptop actually works afterwards, well, that’s debatable.
