Well, not exactly, but it’s probably as close as you’re going to get for a while. There have been a lot of different takes on the UMPC market, but none quite as clever as this Sidekick-like handheld powered by Windows. And we’re not talking Windows Mobile, this is (apparently) full on Windows Vista.
The Amtek U560 prototype being showcased at Computex in Taiwan looks an awful lot like the T-Mobile Sidekick, but I’m not sure if the color screen rotates upwards or simply slides like so many HTC devices before it. Key features include an Intel 600MHz or 800MHz processor, 1.3 megapixel camera, 3600mAH battery, and of course that full QWERTY keyboard.
