Having just a regular slim digital camera may seem pretty cool for now, but wait until you get your hands on this slick picture-taker. The Sony CyberShot DSC-G1 not only has a supermodel’s thin waist, it’s also got built-in 802.11b/g WiFi and 2 gigabytes of internal memory. And let’s not forget about that cool sliding thing on the front that hides (and protects) the lens. This is one sexy beast.
Balancing portability and functionality, the DSC-G1 has a six megapixel image sensor, 3x optical zoom, four scene modes that “optimize your camera’s settings when recording video”, a huge 3.5-inch color display that nearly covers the entire backside, and optics courtesy of Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar. All this mega sweetness comes with a pretty mega price though, as the Sony CyberShot DSC-G1 is set to retail for $600.
