Set to make its official debut at CTIA Wireless 2007, the Pulsar 260 Stereo Bluetooth Headset from Plantronics sports a pendant-style design for ease of use. The controller dangles from your neck so you can quickly adjust the volume and change tracks, automatically switching to inbound phone calls when necessary. In this way, it’s quite similar to the Kyocera unit I reviewed earlier this month. The difference, though, is that the Plantronics Pulsar 260 does not have lanyard-style ear buds.
Naturally, the Pulsar 260 is compliant with Bluetooth A2DP. It also boasts a 33 foot range, a clip to attach the pendant to pockets and lapels, nine hours of talk-time between charges, audio-out cable for connection to any 3.5mm jack, and noise-isolating earbuds to “guarantee a fully immersive stereo audio experience.”
The Plantronics Pulsar 260 Stereo Bluetooth Headset is available now for $109.95.
