Finding nifty new technological innovations in the world of automobiles, cell phones, and MP3 players is nothing out of the ordinary, but you start plunking technology into bottle caps, someone is sure to notice. RFcamp has just unveiled a tiny RFID tag that is small enough to fit in “a cosmetic bottle cap or medicine bottle caps.” Operating on the 900MHz band, this mini RFID tag will be attached to small items, transmitting smidgets of information as they pass through appropriately-equipped readers.

The company hasn’t decided exactly on what sorts of applications would best suit the marketplace, so they’re waiting on other firms to approach them so that they can customize the product “depending on specific demands of the market in terms of the size or design.”
