Well, that didn’t take long at all. Everyone knows that the “S” prefix in Audi language signifies a significant upgrade in performance, so we’re pretty happy to see the 2008 Audi S5. This follows shortly after a quiet unveiling of the much more tame Audi A5.
Also set to be on display at the Geneva Motor Show next month, the S5 will probably have the same 4.2L V8 engine as the A4, except it’ll be slightly tuned for more power. In effect, you get 340 horsepower and 302 lbs-ft of torque. Other upgrades include a sportier suspension, fancier looking fascias, performance wheels and brakes, and carbon fiber interior tidbits.
