That’s 512MB in the photo, but you can get up to 2GB on the DataTraveler Mini, from Kingston. What is has going for it, in addition to the attractive red color and ability to fit in the smallest of pockets, is that it has preloaded on it the amazing Migo, the OS-in-a-box suite that is a hit with many mobile office operators.
Migo is Windows-only, of course. (Sorry, Mac users!) For those of you who need a refresher course, it’s a way of carrying your settings with you no matter what computer you’re using. It works with Microsoft’s Outlook Express and Internet Explorer and Mozilla’s Thunderbird and Firefox. It supports a handful of languages, including French, German, Italian, Spanish, and even Chinese.
The DataTraveler Mini comes in three flavors of storage space: 512MB, 1GB, and 2GB. The first two are available now. Prices are US$11 for the smallest version and US$15 for the middle of the pack. If you want Big Daddy, you’ll have to wait a few weeks.
