So easy, even grandma can enjoy that Media Center PC you bought her for Christmas. The SanDisk USBTV consists of basically a two-part process. On one end, there is a standard USB connection for hooking ‘er up to your computer and loading it with all your favorite multimedia content (it’s got 2GB of flash memory on board). On the other end of the equation is a video line-out that’ll goes into your television. And well, presto, wham-o, you’ve got yourself Media Center-like media on your TV.
There’s also a DRM-enabled video decoder in case you got any of that protected stuff lingering around on the ol’ hard drive. Unfortunately, SanDisk is still in the early testing stages for this handy little device, so don’t expect to find it at your local Best Buy any time soon.
