Heading to a T-Mobile dealer near you is the latest portable Windows device from our friends at HTC. The “Athena” X7500 takes the PDA phone game to a whole new level, as it doesn’t include a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, rather opting for a keyboard dock, leaving you with an almost laptop-like experience.
The 3.5-inch QVGA display is a touchscreen (as can be expected), whereas the camera around the back tosses in three megapixels of high resolution goodness. Rounding out the features are a 400MHz Samsung processor, 256MB ROM, 64MB RAM, 802.11b/g WiFi, USB connectivity, and GSM/GPRS. Oh, and for the Americans in the audience on the cusp of rushing out to the mall to visit their closest Zeta-less kiosk: The HTC Athena is destined for T-Mobile Netherlands, not USA.
