Granted, it is still nowhere near the number of horses powering the Bugatti Veyron (1001hp), but this special Lamborghini Gallardo GTV, customized by tuning firm IMSA, has got plenty of jump of its own, having had its V10 powerplant massaged to produce 610 horsepower at 7900rpm. Unfortunately, the torque figures aren’t quite as high with the custom Gallardo putting out about 483 lbs-ft of pull. Not to say that isn’t impressive on its own.
IMSA focused more on the performance side of things, rather than aesthetics, and as such, the overall look of the car has not changed much from its factory appearance. They installed a few niceties to accentuate the inherent muscular design, like new front and rear aprons, flared wheel arches, a discrete rear spoiler, and “distinctive spoke wheels with central locking.” Oh, and those wheels are wrapped by 245/30 rubber in the front and super-wide 325/25 tires in the rear.
