XM Satellite Radio is so much more than just commercial-free music and talk shows. They also provide you with real-time traffic, so why not add real-time weather tracking too? My, you must be psychic, because that’s exactly what XM plans on introducing at the upcoming 2007 Consumer Electronics Show.
This new system will provide specific, real-time weather conditions for both your current location and your planned destination. By preparing you ahead of time for the rainy roads and/or sunny skies ahead, you can be know exactly what to expect when you finally make your way into the Disneyland parking lot.
The weather report and forecast given are specific to your individual route. To be introduced in the summer, XM’s weather service — developed in tandem with Baron Services — works great with XM NavTraffic. For more information, head on over to the CES later this month.
