—— THINK YOU CAN GET ME ONE FOR REVIEW? IT MIGHT EVEN BE A KEEPER AT THAT PRICE ———

Something about the shape of the Teclast C260 portable media player makes me think of Microsoft’s offering, but you’ll notice that the glossy black exterior is broken up by what appears to be red touch sensitve controls a la the LG Chocolate Phone. It’s not nearly as big as the Zune, however, as the C260 is being marketed as being smaller than a business card in size. It’s only 9.8mm thick to boot!

The 2.4-inch TFT LCD boasts 260k colors, an 8ms response time, and — get this — it’s a touchscreen too. In addition to music, this Teclast player will also do FM radio, recording, and games. If the one gig of on-board memory doesn’t cut the mustard, you can always add more via the memory card slot.

Destined for the Chinese market, the Teclast C260 portable media player will retail for 399RMB (US$51). Man, that’s cheap.
