Pantech IM-S150 with “Korean traditional beauty”

Some may say that phones are too modern, too techie, too futuristic in design. For people looking for a more traditional approach, Pantech is launching the SKY-branded IM-S150. The fashionable flip phone is said to boast “designs inspired by Korean traditional beauty.” The patterns on the face are simple, yet elegant.

Tipping the scales at a mere 80 grams and rocking a footprint of 7.8 x 3.7cm, the Pantech IM-S150 sports a 1.3 megapixel camera with flash, polyphonic ringtones, IrDA, a pair of 260k color TFT LCDs, and an internal antenna. It’s so stylish that it has been honored at the 2007 International Forum Design Awards for “excellence in the design of cellular phones.”

The SKY IM-S150 is launching this week in Korea. No word on price.
