We first heard about the Nintendo MP3 player a couple of months ago when a leaked pic hit up the interweb. Well, now we know that the music-playing cart for the DS and Game Boy Advance is very much a reality, and it’s definitely heading for Europe in time for the holidays.

To be priced at 30 Euros, this is a Game Boy Advance-sized cartridge that will swallow up SD cards (up to 2GB in size, as far as we know) and blast out MP3s through your Nintendo DS (Lite). You control the playback via the touchscreen, or — if you’re still rocking a GBA SP or GB Micro — with the usual A/B/L/R buttons.

Expected launch date is December 8th, and just as before, no word on whether it’s coming State-side. In the meantime, maybe you should consider something like the DS-X all-in-one homebrew solution.
