Some people enjoy using their laptops for accessing the internet on the go (especially those in San Diego, Seattle, Las Vegas, and Milwaukee). Others may like the ability to write up term papers while sipping on a latte at the coffee shop. For folks that use their laptops for multimedia purposes — especially for mobile gaming — Toshiba has given its Dynabook Satellite AW6 quite the substantial upgrade: a GeForce Go 7600 graphics card with 256MB of VRAM.
That will put this portable solution right on par with many decent desktop setups (though not nearly up to snuff with top of the line gear, but that’s the price you pay for mobility). The rest of the laptop, you can configure any number of ways, including a Core 2 Duo T7200 procressor, up to 2 gigs of RAM, 120GB HDD, dual-layer DVD burner, and so forth.
No word how much of a premium Toshiba will be charging for the graphics upgrade.
