Don’t call us a phone company, but please call us. Helio is still going through some growing pains, and having just the two Pantech-made handsets in their lineup isn’t exactly helping their cause. The MVNO with MySpace Mobile has apparently hooked up with Samsung for the first time, and that wild night of passion is about to give way to a new phone called the “Drift.”
Maybe we should start calling it a phone. It seems that Helio is moving more toward the conventional end of things, having already killed off the glossy white Kickflip. As far as the Drift is concerned, you’ll get a 2 megapixel camera, QVGA display, Bluetooth A2DP, and Java with XCE. Shake that money maker.
