Apparently, the only thing holding the PSP back from making a bigger splash in the marketplace is a new paintjob. At least that’s what Sony execs seem to think as the electronics giant is set to announce the availability of the portable multimedia machine in up to five more colors, including a vibrant blue, powder pink, and sleek silver. To some, these bright coatings may cheapen the look of the otherwise powerful handheld gamer.
By all indications, the pink PSP will hit shelves on November 22, the silver unit on December 12, and the blue one on December 22. Maybe this is their one last push before they reveal the upgraded PSP with loads of NAND flash, a hard drive, and even GPS.
