While Sony keeps running through the excuse list for their e-book Reader release delay, others are competing to create a more “flexible” solution. This flexible display prototype from Plastic Logic has been able to reach 150ppi resolution. Their last design was 100ppi, and you can sure see the difference those 50 extra ppi can make. Although its not a match to that real ink paper you are used to seeing, this prototype is a good progress indicator. Plastic Logic hopes to produce a 10-inch 150ppi flexible display in 2008.
