Secure Digital (SD) and Compact Flash (CF) cards are getting cheaper and cheaper, but sometimes it just isn’t practical to buy several gigabytes worth in order to store all your snapshots. That’s why Canon has the new M30 and M80 portable photo viewers, giving you enough space for 30 gigs and 80 gigs of pictures, respectively. This way, when you’re on a long road trip, you can quickly and easily dump off all of your photos and keep on snapping.
Both units sport 3.7-inch TFT displays, and they’re good for more than just stills: both units are perfectly capable of blasting out tunes and playing vids as well. The Canon M30 and M80 support a wide variety of file formats, including RAWs. In this way, they’re not just photo viewers; they could be considered full-on PMPs. No word on pricing.
