By the looks of things, the engineers at Acer didn’t spend all that much time coming up with the aesthetic design of their new MP150 MP3 player, but it’s a fairly adequate unit even if it’s nothing particularly special.
The MP150 boasts a 1.5-inch OLED display for some exceptional image quality (though all the press photos have the unit powered off, so we have no idea what the UI even looks like). In addition to MP3 and WMA support (including DRM), the MP150 also doubles as a picture viewer.
Other key features include voice recording, a lithium-ion battery, and a SD/MMC expansion slot to go with its 1GB of on-board memory. You’ll also notice that most of the controls are on the side. Whether that’s a good thing or a bad thing, I’ll leave up to you.
