You can use a MacBook Pro for just about anything, from cooking eggs on your over-heated battery, to burning the latest DVDs, and now you can add watching digital TV to that list. Miglia Technology has unveiled a digital TV card specifically designed for the MacBook Pro, which they call the TVBook Pro. The card has an amplified antenna which is powered by the USB bus to give you the best possible reception on the go.
The Expresscard/34 TVBook Pro ships with EyeTV 2software from Elgato which lets you pause, rewind and skip forward live TV like you are used to on your Tivo. You can also put the content you see onto your iPod with just the click of a button. The TVBook Pro will be available early next month and will cost about $185. No word on where they will be available, but Miglia has a wide range of resellers, so it should show up everywhere fairly quickly.
