When you pair up understated elegance with a powerful multimedia engine, the result is a delicate balance between utter serenity and rocking out to Marilyn Manson. Pantech Group has just unveiled their latest handset, the IM-U130, a “jukebox” phone that will be marketed under the company’s Sky premium brand.
Yup, this candybar isn’t just a music phone, it’s a jukebox all its own, complete with 512MB of on-board memory to stash your k-pop, j-pop, and your favourite All American Rejects album. Naturally, there’s a microSD expansion slot as well for a little extra music storage. The IM-U130 is said to provide a full 20 hours of MP3 playing enjoyment on a single charge.
On the imaging front, you can expect a 2.0 megapixel camera, and of course it comes with Bluetooth too. No word on pricing, but — as you can probably guess — this is yet another Korea-only release.
