Canadians now have another choice for push e-mail. The Nokia E62 will now be available in Canada exclusively through Rogers Wireless. It will work on the Rogers MyMail push e-mail system, which is powered by Visto. With this move, Rogers becomes the first carrier in North America to offer the E62.
The E62 has a 2.8-inch widescreen display, with a browser designed to take full advantage of the screen, providing PC-like web surfing. A full QWERTY keyboard makes sending e-mails on the go easy.
It’s obviously not just for surfing or emailing, either: the phone offers six hours of talk time on a charge, and you can make five-way conference calls. Entertainment options are abound too, with an MP3 and video player, photo gallery and games. There is just 90MB of onboard memory, but miniSD cards let you add up to 2GB.
The E62 will be available from Rogers for $249.99 with a three year contract.
