Looking down the spec sheet, you won’t find anything that sets this cell phone apart from the competition, but you will be able to see it glistening from miles away. Accessories maker Peter Aloisson has taken a fairly standard looking bar-style mobile phone and encrusted it with diamonds. As a result, the asking price is a cool $1.3 million. Pocket change, right?
The keypad design makes me think of Sony Ericsson’s entry-level handsets for some reason, but the diamonds certainly make this no entry-level phone. Not only do you get the usual white diamonds on this phone, but he’s also opted for rose, gold, and blue varieties as well, just to up to the ante.
As far as actual technical features, it’ll take care of SMS, MMS, E-mail, mobile web, WAP, and JAVA, as well as sporting 29 preset ringtones and an integrated media player. Of course, that’s not why you’d want this phone anyways.
