Mitsubishi D702iBCL runs on Symbian, is all business

NTT DoCoMo subscribers will soon have yet another option when it comes to picking up their next cell phones, and they won’t be restricted to fruity colours and more creative form factors. For the person that is all business, the Japanese mobile service provider is offering the Mitsubishi D702iBCL, a long-ish candybar handset that runs on Symbian 8.1.

Clad in a non-descript black, this phone is designed to be a workhorse and not a toy for teeny-boppers. Sporting NTT”s Mobile Oriented Applications Platform (MOAP), this handset will go well with those you who throw on a tie and carry a briefcase each morning, just before you hop on the subway. The QVGA display appears to be a pretty good size, as does the phone itself, which measures 130 x 47 x 16.8mm and weighs 97 grams.

They make no mention of a camera, but the picture appears to depict a small picture taker on the top left corner, perhaps for video conferencing needs.
