Jeremy Clarkson of Top Gear is reporting back on yet another drool worthy car. For this go around, he hopped into the Alfa Romeo Brera concept sports coupe, which some are saying is “the best looking car that money can buy today.” Too bad you can’t buy it yet; you’ll have to wait until the end of the year for that.
He’s saying that “you cannot be a true petrol head until you’ve owned an Alfa,” so why not start with this one. Quite the headturner, the Brera is available with three different engines: a 2.4 JTD turbodiesel engine, capable of developing 200hp; a 2.2L JTS that’ll put out 185hp; or the granddaddy of them all, an incredible 3.2 litre unit that will floor you with its 260 horses.
While in an absolute sense, it isn’t the smallest car on the market, measuring 4414mm in length, the “deeply tapered front and rear styling creates the impression of a very compact car.” Starting at 25 (presumably in 1000s of British Pounds).
