Fiat is using the Madrid Motor Show as the venue to release its new Ducato, designed by the Light Commercial Vehicles Division to be a mid-sized cargo van for commercial use. To celebrate the occasion, Fiat Style Center has created a Ducato ‘Truckster’ show van. It’s what happens when a tuner falls in love with industrial vehicles. The Truckster is 21 feet long and more than 8 feet high, so you would definitely be noticed driving it. The 28 inch rims would dwarf many small cars on the road.
The Truckster has a biplane wing mounted on the rear for style and performance, and side pipes for much the same reason. LED headlights let you see and be seen, and hydraulic gullwing doors make it as much fun to get in and out of as it would be to drive. Needless to say, the Truckster is not destined to make it past the concept stage, but it is certainly something unique to look at.
