The Sandisk RapidGX card was designed with the Sony PSP in mind and sports 1GB of memory for all your multimedia needs, including movies and TV shows, games, music, and digital music. Read/Write speeds using the company’s high-speed card reader are reported to be 15MB a second. You can get this card for US$84.99.
The PRO Duo tops out at 4GB but is also available in 256MB, 512MB, 1GB and 2GB models. It packs the same versatile multimedia storage options as the RapidGX, with the 4GB version capable of storing up to 64 hours of music, up to 20 hours of video, up to 12 hours of saved games, or up to 4,000 digital still images. Prices will range from US$34.99 to US$219.99.
All of these cards were first seen at E3. They will be available in the next couple of weeks.
