Sony’s new portable photo printers are tiny

Sony has released two portable photo printers that promise high quality, despite their small size.

Both the DPP-FP55 and the DPP-FP35 specialize in making your job of printing photos easier, they allow for 256 colors and print photos with a special laminate that protects against fading. They are also very small, the size of a standard digital camera.

The FP55 allows you to edit, zoom, crop, and remove red-eye on the fly, using the included two-inch display. It will sell for US$150 and will be available in July.

The FP35 supports PictBridge, which allows direct printing from your digital camera. This model will be available in September and will sell for US$100.
